Many years ago, the owners of a medical biling company and I went to a local office supply store.  they were looking for a printer.  The sales person agreed with my selections.  The owners were impressed with his presentation and manners, they asked him if he wanted to work for them as a medical biller. He had NO training or background in this at all.  They trained him themselves. MY wife took a receptionist job at a medical lab.  When a position opened she applied and was hired.  So, anything can happen at anytime.  Do what it takes to get your foot in the door.
