The person yelling "Let Them Die" is probably the same one yelling "Kill The Monster" in Young Frankenstein.

Doctors going back to the hospital as employees is happening alot more than some realize.  On the same note, some doctors who are hospital employees are told to leave hospital employment resulting in (a) starting their own practice as sole provider or joining a medical group.  Im working with our local medical society to develop a training program and guidebook for these situations.

Even though a doctor becomes a hospital employee, there is a ton of stuff to still do.  You have all their claims, which havent been resolved, that need resolution.  I once worked for a doctor that quit medicine altogether.  It took me 6 years to clean up every claim and even then something still comes along that requires my attention.

What you shared is a very sad situation and happening more than you might think - everything medical and healthcare related seems to be going wacko while too many suffer and struggle.

The other day I was curious and watched 5 minutes of a Fox News political debate. The question was:"What if a person needs to go to the hospital but has no insurance?" and people cheered and applauded to the statement:"Let them die?"

You asked for advice...  I don't want to turn this thread into a political discussion, but I have shared this with many others in the recent past. My advice: vote and vote wisely! It might not be the advice you hoped for but it is the best advice I can think of at the moment. My second advice is: bill for the hospital (which may mean becoming an employee like the doctor). I know, the latter is not funny. Roll Eyes
