Spam Message Removed and Poster Banned

I can guess that they make money off of any sale and any click from the links they leave in the message.  these could be advertisement bots which find any website they can to post their useless messages. 

Subliminal advertisements such as "I heard XYZ is an excellent X, I recommend it for anyone who wishes a colon cleansing before a cranialrectalectomy.   These completely turn me off, right up there with an infomercial that says I can have a second one for free when paying separate postage and handling. 

Some forums I used to visit are nothing but a collection of these garbage messages.   Many websites do not allow posting unless you prove you are human.  But, we'll keep Dodge City clean even if it means a deletion at the OK Corral.

It takes extra work and extra time for us (forum owner and forum admin) to go through the posts and initiate a ban and delete, but it is fully worth the effort. While we do see SPAM from time to time we can pride ourselves that we are relatively "spam free". In other words, after all those years we still continue to have a good grip on it, despite of SPAMMERS getting smarter and more persistent on the Web.

Not only has this Spammer been banned but his username, email address and IP number has been submitted to "Stop Forum Spam" which maintains lists of spammers that persist in abusing forums and blogs with their scams, ripoffs, exploits and other annoyances*. They provide these lists so that you don't have to endure the never ending job of having to moderate, filter and delete their rubbish again.

Once again, the spammers have tried to flood this forum with their useless messages with links that could be dangerous to your computer.  The poster is banned and their messages are removed.
