today, i must have deleted almost 100 spam messages.  inbedded were links to other websites.  One was offering to sell software for much less than retail.  The problems I see are (1) you might be buying bootleg or illegal copies which may not work but may subject you to copyright law violations, prosecution or worse.  (2)  these people now have your bank account or credit card information and when you get the bill, you paid for first class plane tickets to Rome, Beverly Hills or someplace expensive or your bank account is now empty.    Another has links that take you to the sale of clothing.  Again, your purchases may be confiscated by the Government for counterfeit purchases.  And they have your credit card and bank account information.  In a few weeks, you get threatening calls from debt collecion agencies and your credit is ruined for years.

You may see a spam posting on the forum.

Most are simply gibberish with hidden links that might take you to a virus infected website.

When we see one, we remove it and Danni bans the poster.  

If one slips through or is posted before we catch it, DO NOT LOAD THE POST AND DEFINATELY DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS.  

We try to keep the forum spam free, but these spammers are persistant and try to do everything to destroy your computer.  They also try to get you to fall prey to their subliminal advertising, but dont fall for it.  Anytime something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. You do not want a trojan on your computer to send these jerks your personal information where they can use it to create fake IDs for themselves as well as fake credit cards.
