Why are we here?

We are here because we decide we want to do something good. We decide we want to be a coder or we decide we want to be a medical biller.  When we make that decision, we embark on a journey that is not easy.  We sometimes have to make decisions that interact with a family in financial hardship or a single mother trying to make ends meet.  These decisions are not easy to make.  We, ourselves may be in our own financial hardship or we may be a single mother trying to make ends meet.  But, we have a doctor, nurse, receptionist, and other staff that depends on us. 

We are here to do what is right for the doctor and the patient.  Like a doctor, we are here to do no harm.  We use our knowledge, our training, and our experience for good. We are not here to become rich at the expense of an insurance company or patient.
