The dr wants me to send each day separately when he sees ICU pts. He says Medicare doesn't like paying ICU and there is less of a chance that Medicare will deny the claim if I send a claim for each day. So if he sees and ICU pt for 5 days, I have to send 5 separate claims. Is he correct? Will it even make a difference?

No not at all, You can claim all at-once, there is no logic behind claiming for each day separately. I think that doctor needs to be review the claiming claws and for Medicare approach to a knowledgeable person. Medicare can provide a good help for you, go ahead with it and do a right and fruitful approach.
