Hey Everyone,

I am new to the boards and either didn't see the section or there wasn't a place for doing introductions.  I just wanted to say hi before I started reading through and responding to posts. 

My name is Adam Mlynarcik.  I am a 26 here old computer programmer that works as supervisor of computer operations at a medical billing company in Indiana.  The company is family owned and operated and has been so for about 30 years.  One day I look forward to buying the company from my dad and making it my own, but first I need to try to learn as much about the field as possible.

I look forward to networking with many of you and learning from your experiences as well as offering up some advice from my own.

If you haven't already done so, introduce yourself here. Tell us a little bit about yourself, training, and future aspirations in the medical coding and billing field.

My name is Shawn Simmons and I own a medical billing agency.  My background is in Healthcare Information Technology and Practice Management Systems. I am a software developer and database architect by trade but owning my own billing agency was a natural progression for me after 15+ years of software development in the industry.

I am in NC, and specialty would be DME, Gen Med, Peds, Neuro, Card, Opthal, Ortho, OBgyn, Ent,

I have never done home health, mental health, facility billing etc.
