Our medical assisting teacher was an amazing person just like you. She did not spend much time on certain things, but pounded in other things to the point of "no return" to get us prepared for the REAL world and getting that job. She did a fine job. As a matter of fact, this reminds me to give her a call. I haven't done that in a while, just to say hello and thank her again.

Charlene, I had to take 3 tests at my last job before I was hired as a biller.  I had an interview 2 days ago and had to take one there as well.

Here its happening alot in my area.

I have NEVER been asked to do a pre-employment test. Maybe coders have, but in billing..never

They may ask typical questions asked during a normal job interview. 

They may also ask you to take a pre-employment test to see if you can do what you say you can do.
