I am now semi retired.  Im now just a fat old geezr that sits in his recliner watching cash cab, antiques roadshow, deadliest catch, pimp my ride, entourage, weeds, dexter, ncis, ghosthunters, burn notice, royal pains, my name is earl, csi, csi ny, diners, driveins, and dives and iron chef.

Besides, the client wont want me. Im too aggressive. Doctors want someone nice.  Doctors dont want to be seen as being mean to the insurance company.  They need someone much better and professional like you or charlene.

I dont understand what you mean by new prices for CPT codes?

Are you saying you are developing charges for a provider???

My answer:  DONT!!!!!! YOU ALREADY SAY YOU ARE CONFUSED.  I DONT KNOW IF YOU ARE TAKING THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA INTO CONSIDERATION.

THAT IS NOT THE JOB OF A MEDICAL BILLER. OUR JOB IS TO SEND CLAIMS AND TO ENSURE ADJUDICATION OF THOSE CLAIMS.  NOT TO BUILD A DOCTORS PRACTICE FROM THE GOUND UP, INCLUDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIS/HER CHARGES. (Caps are for emphasis. I am not yelling)

One other thing. If you've gone to other forums and have asked:

Can someone tell me what a doctor in Shawshank charges for CPT XXXXX or YYYYY or what a chiropractor charges in the Chicago area.  You could be opening the doctor to federal charges for price fixing. 

You could open yourself to a possible lawsuit if you do this wrong.
The doctor is the one to develop his or her charges.
