That comes from our valid replies manual they give you at graduation.

On my first day of training, I give a four hour presentation on the billing and coding influences.  my students go home with huge headaches but they are open to their training because they see how hard things are out there and the importance of their training.

Usually in the 6th week of training, someone usually makes a comment that they dont know how some people can do this work without the proper training.  My answer is simple.  Page 3-24: "They can't"

Sorry, we cant copy our manuals as they are DNA coded and copy preventable.   Its the same system Hollywood uses with special scripts so they cant be released to the public.  I guess I got a second hand book someone tried to sell on Ebay and was confiscated by the MBCA  because someone highlighted the wrong answers.

To add to Linda:

Take a medical billing course before you go any further.

DO NOT DO THIS ON YOUR OWN.  I did it for years, but I was trained and I have years of experience, plus I dont have the time to train you.  The insurance company will eat you alive and if you dont know what you are doing, the doctor could be in a worst situation resulting in you being sued. Even with my training and experience, many insurance companies simply said NO to any fee schedule that was outside of what they pay.  Even doctors that have sued the insurance company have lost in court.

Again, my tip:  DO NOT DO THIS PERIOD. leave this to the experts and lawyers.
