It was a dark and gloomy night.  The darkness oozed like sludge from an Alaskan oil spill.  The doctor sat at a battered desk covered with old cigarette burns, the in box was overflowing with insurance correspondence.  For hours the doctor wondered where the sun went.  In the morning it finally dawned on him. There was a firm knock at the front door.  Is it another Medicare patient?  Was it another AIG patient?  NO! The doctor opened the door. Lo and Behold, swaddled in bright sunshine was a Certified Medical Coder-Biller with 5 years of experience. Those dark and gloomy nights will soon be a thing of the past.

( I have too much time on my hands.)

On a very, very basic level?Huh?

My most basic is this:
It was a dark gloomy night, and just when the doctor thought he was out in the cold, a medical coder/biller stepped in, and made sure the doctor got paid. The medical biller is the doctor's key to happiness.

There's too much we do to list in a single post.

Just sending a claim contains numerous subtasks.

If you buy a simple book on medical billing it may contain most of the things we do at the basic level, if it is a good book.

This will allow you to do your work for yourself instead of us doing your work for you.

On a side note, I do not help students do their homework, assignments, or term papers. In my opinion, and as a University Professor of coding and billing, to get us to do your research and work for you, I considered that academic cheating.
