I have a feeling that you will do just fine on the CBCS exam from the NHA. REALLY - I am.

One of my students took the cbcs exam and passed it with a score of 95%.  another scored an 85%.  Dont second guess yourself.  Follow your training.

CPC is certification by the American Academy of  Profesional Coders. It is strictly a coding certification, where you are being tested in both coding and billing. Ceritification is an employer preference,  but it may be possible when shown you have this certification, they may accept it.  Remember, they prefer someone with X cetification but that is preferred.

As someone new, we suggest you work on gaining experience.  Also, there is a difference in hospital coding/billing versus coding/billing for a physician.  howeverm if you are hired, listen and learn and stick o your training.  Try not to pick up any bad habits that some may show.

Good luck and much success.
